I told myself that today was going to be a day of relaxation. Hubby is outside washing my car and I am sitting here in my jammies feeling guilty. Somebody tell me it is ok! I feel the need to get up and wash some windows or something.

I think I'll go read some blogs first.

We have all been trying to save blogs that we enjoy reading. At Technorati you can have them all in one place. That makes it so much easier to see who has updated. The trouble for me has been taking the time to add those who have favorited me to my favorites. This has been made so much simpler. Over at engtech blog is a program that you can put on your desktop. Run it whenever you want to, preferably a couple times a week, and those who have favorited you are added! Woo Hoo!Commenting and making friends with other bloggers increases our page ranks and enables us to make money on the internet. For me, when my page rank goes up, I will have more opportunities to write ads for PayPerPost.

As a blogger, I enjoy writing in my blog. An extra that I have been afforded is the possibility to make money while I blog. If you have a blog and are interested in paid blogging, you need to hop on over to Geeky Speaky! Colleen has decided to start a new series where she will review each of the paid blogging services. She starts the series off with a review of Sponsored Reviews. The review is very in depth and lists the pros and cons. There are even comments by bloggers who are currently using Sponsored Reviews. Be sure to bookmark her blog and check back for more paid blogging reviews. It really saved me a lot of wasted time trying things that just weren't worth the effort.

There is a nice blog called, Britopian Marketing Blog. I am adding it to my favorites because it has really good ideas on how to optimize my blog. The blog itself is so neat and clean. I like that in a blog. There isn't so much stuff that you feel like you have to wade through the ads to find the content of the blog. As I read the posts pertaining to Viral Marketing I have learned of so much useful information. I am always looking for ways to increase the value of this blog and I see that I can let this blog owner do the legwork for me and present me with options for optimizing my blog. Whether the content is about social media or viral marketing I see that the research has been done so I can get the information I need. The blog talks about search engine optimization. I know what I have tried but need to do more to get my blog seen by more viewers. I plan to use the posts on this blog as a map to follow. Quite a few of us bloggers have been trying ways to get more people to read our blogs. I have listed my blog in the Grokodile blog directory. It is a fun blog directory because it lists our blogs by regions. Now I can go to the Indiana section and find others from my state who like to blog. It is fun to meet new people and find out what they are blogging about. Since I live in a small community, this blog directory is the best because people living in smaller communities will not get swallowed up in a directory where no one can find them.
