I just finished a whirlwind trip to Sam's Club and I think everyone and his brother was in there! I was able to get a guy to put the softener salt in the cart for me. That was a nice change! I didn't need to buy much because we had just been to the grocery last evening.

That reminds me of an incident that happened last night. When we parked at the grocery hubby noticed three small children in the car next to us. He said that he thought they were pretty little to be by themselves. We bought our groceries and when we came back the car with the kids was still there. I have to mention that the front windows of the car were rolled down so it would have been pretty easy to snatch one of the kids and run. This bugged us so we called 911. When the police car pulled up a guy jumped out of the car next to the car with the kids and said he was watching them. What the heck was he doing in the other car??? One of the kids could have choked and he would have never known. I hope the policeman told the man it wasn't a good thing to do. Would you have called 911?

We are so lucky to live in a small town. The other day, my husband called to local lawncare dealership and asked about getting our riding lawn mower looked at. He needed the blades sharpened and the engine looked over to see what maintenance it needed. At the price we paid for it, it needs attention to make sure it runs for a really long time. It is one of those that has a zero degree radius turn capability that makes mowing so much easier. It cuts down on hubby's mowing time by an hour. We mow 3 acres. The dealership came and picked up the mower, serviced it and brought it back! Where do you get treated like that? I love it when this guy comes because he always has his 96 year old mother ride along with him in the truck. She is the nicest person. We have done a lot of work in her home. I just love it that her son treats her like a queen.

All my friends know that if they want a buddy to go furniture shopping, I am the one to call. I love looking at furniture. A customer, who loves Longaberger baskets, asked if I had ceramic tile with pictures of baskets on them. After a long search, I was able to find some. There is a lady, who lives in Florida, who can put just about anything you want on the face of ceramic tile. I think my customer is going to love these.

I admire artists. They have the ability to show what is in their hearts. I suppose that I show my feelings through my scrapbook pages and the quilts I create but I envy those with the talent to paint. I love to look at art attributed to glenn glasgow. Glenn D. Just read what that says! I should take that saying and try to remember it every day. He has the ability to take simple things and make them memorable. His Book 'OurMarket,' looks at the lives and situation facing America today. What amazes me is that those situations are looked at through the eyes of fruits, and insects! Now, who would have thought to do that! I want to check out barnesandnoble.com and get that book ordered. I have to see how he did that.

He has been recognized by the international society of poets for outstanding achievement in poetry. His book ‘Phzed,’ looks at the construction of Noah’s ark, the pyramids of Giza, and Stonehenge, through the eyes of the tools that built them. This new artist is simply amazing.

Vh1 has a lot of shows that I love to watch. I like the one where they show where the child stars are now. There are actually a few reality shows I like too. RockStartUp is a reality show that showcases how payperpost was introduced. Some of the episodes show how PayPerPost has given back to the community with gifts and help for the less fortunate. My favorite episode was of a friend's wedding. PayPerPost has been a dream come true for me. I have earned a lot of money and met so many nice people. Some of those people have given me the oomph I needed to become a better writer. Posties are all types of people. VH1 would benefit from showing RockStartUp on their show because people love to see something positive like making a business grow.

I am finally getting my ceramic fixed in the bathroom. It looks awful with black stuff growing and the grout is so discolored. All of the grout is being dug out and replaced and new caulking will be put around the tub. No matter how much I scrub, I can't seem to keep the grout clean so every few years this has to be done. It has been past due for a few months now. It's embarrassing when we have company!

Did you know that there are schools where proms are still segregated??? I had no idea. I thought the whole US was beyond that. I just saw an online article where in Ashburn, Georgia the first integrated prom was held. I guess I have my head in the sand. I didn't know segregation in the public school system still existed.
